Van Jones was appointed by President Obama just one month after he referred to Republicans as “assholes” in a speech in Berkley.  He had previously been a communist and is quoted as criticizing the United
States and sympathizing with Islamists on September 12, 2001, one day after 9/11.  He apparently is also a member of 911Truth.org which promotes the paranoia that Bush knew about 9/11 before it happened and used it as an excuse to go to war.  Furthermore, his opinions on clean coal should be of concern to all Kentuckians.  Van Jones calls clean coal “fictitious” and “ludicrous” stating that the administrations Cap and Trade requirements will put the coal industry out of business.  See article
