The 2012 election results are now final and President Obama won another 4 years in the White House.  After two years of campaigning and two billion dollars wasted the result is no change!  Things today are the same as yesterday.  Presidency, Senate and House – nothing changed!  It is hard to believe but true.  Then what happened?  I think most would agree that the main stream medial probably deserves most of the credit for the re-election of Barack Obama.  They supported him to an unprecedented extent.  At no other time in modern American history has the press played such an overtly partisan role.  They protected Obama from criticism and spun the news to his advantage at every turn.  It is hard to see how our democracy can survive without a free and objective press.  The country is getting the government it deserves.
