Audacity – brazenness, disrespect, gall, impertinence, insolence, nerve, presumptuousness, rudeness. Audacity is certainly an apt description of the Obama administration. The latest audacious behavior of this team is Vice President Biden taking credit for success in Iraq!
“I am very optimistic about Iraq; I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration” stated Vice President Biden.
The nerve of such a man is well beyond brazen. Senators Biden and Obama were the chief architects of the resolution to oppose President Bush’s surge policy which is responsible for the success in Iraq. Biden went on to say
“You’re going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer.” “You’re going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.”
When in fact the drawdown of troops in Iraq was planned and put into place by President Bush before he left office. So not only do Obama and Biden blame Bush for anything that goes bad on their watch, but now are taking credit for the most courageous and successful policies of President Bush. Audacious indeed!
