Last night the first National Tea Party Convention wound up in Nashville with Sarah Palin giving the keynote speech.  The nascent group has had their problems but no one can deny that a large part of the electorate has been awakened by the shenanigans of Obama and the Democrat party.  They profess limited government, low taxes, national security and personal liberty.  Sound familiar?  All that remains is to see if the Republican Party will be smart enough to welcome them or if they will view them as a threat and miss an opportunity for a populace resurgence this November.
