State of the Union Hubris

Last night State of the Union speech was typical Obama hubris. He is just not to be believed or trusted. This was the speech of an ideologue determined to transform the country to his vision without regard for the will of the people or the Constitution.
He again called for transparency after just making a mockery of it (remember CSPAN and health care). He again called for cessation of earmarks after having just signed a bill with over 8,000 earmarks. He again called for ideas on health care reform after he just locked out the representatives of half the population of the country. He called for a limited spending freeze, next year (i.e. 2011), in the face of just having racked up the largest deficits in our countries history. He again blamed Bush for everything – that is when he wasn’t blaming the Republicans. He chastised the Republicans for his failure to pass socialized health care despite having total control of both houses of Congress. He attacked the Supreme Court for upholding the Constitution. He made it very clear how little he cares about national security by how little time he spent talking about it. Anyone who believes this man deserves what they get.
