Pro-Abortion Not Pro-Choice
The recent uproar about the Super Bowl ad CBS has approved about the Tim Tebow story reveals the true agenda of the extreme feminist women; they are pro-abortion not pro-choice. The pro-abortion crowd is working hard to suppress the story of Tim Tebow, whose mother chose not to have an abortion, against medical advice, twenty years ago. Her son is now a college football star and Heisman trophy candidate.
Opposition to the ad is illogical. They claim the ad which celebrates life is an anti-choice ad. That would be the same as claiming that an ad for one political candidate over another is anti-voting. Women have a choice. The ad is to promote one choice (life) over another (death), just as a political candidate ad is to promote which candidate, not no candidate. Wasn’t it President Clinton who stated that abortion should be legal but rare? Doesn’t this ad help just that?
Representatives of the Women’s Media Center assert that this ad is an assault on Roe v. Wade. Perhaps we should remember that Jane Roe of the famous case had claimed that her pregnancy was the result of rape. Later she admitted that she had fabricated the rape and that she was the pawn of two feminist lawyers. Jane Roe (Norma McCorvey) is now a pro-life advocate.
Many years ago when I was a young attending surgeon at UCLA, my secretary became pregnant. Her doctors had done an ultrasound of her baby and told her there was a chance that he might have a birth defect. They would not guarantee it but only gave her a range of statistical probability. They recommended she consider having an abortion. She finally decided to proceed with the pregnancy. She had a healthy baby boy with no complications who became the joy of her life. You have the choice – now Choose Life!
