President Obama just decided to make his long awaited speech on jobs (now that HIS vacation is over) in the House Chamber before a joint session of Congress (needed to assure the TV stations would cover it) without asking the Speaker of the House and puts it on the same night as the Republican Presidential debates.  In ancient times we thought the world was geocentric.  Then Copernicus and Galileo discovered it was heliocentric.  Now we learn it is really Obamacentric.  Aren’t you sick of this guy yet?

When you hear that space aliens may be green, they aren’t necessarily referring to their color.  A report in the UK Guardian about researchers associated with NASA and Penn State,  gives a possible scenario being considered by scientists that “Aliens may destroy humanity to protect other civilizations” because humans are producing excess greenhouse gases and threatening the universe!!  These guys must be working for Al Gore.

Recently Jeb Bush has been speaking out like a man thinking of running for President with a tone of great moderation stating it’s time to listen and learn and not be nostalgic about the past. Yesterday on Cavuto, he even defended Obama that he means well despite some bad policies. The left has praised his comments. On MSNBC they are calling Jeb Bush a man of stature and hyping him as a good Presidential candidate as opposed to the others already in the race.

President Obama and the Democrat Party are always calling for civility and compromise but it appears to be a one way street. Read more

Today ended the four-day celebration in Madrid, Spain of World Youth Day.  Nearly 2 million young people from around the world joined together with Pope Benedict in communion with Christ.  Yes, 2 million young people, mostly teenagers, gathered for Jesus Christ, yet not a word about it was reported in the mainstream media.  However, if as few as a hundred youth gather to support gay marriage or the environment, it would be reported extensively.  A glaring example of the anti-Christian bias of todays western world.

The President, and oh how tough it is to degrade the office by calling him president, will give his economic plan in September.  He’s been in office going on three years and we have been suffering in economic hell for those three years and the President is only now going to come up with a plan.  Anyone who doesn’t see this as a total failure of leadership is by all definitions a fool. Liberals and socialists repeatedly revert to proven failed policies.  There is no historical example in the world today over the last 100 years where socialism has succeeded.   As Margaret Thatcher said, “the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.”  And, indeed they have.  That corrupt collection of liberalism that has infected Europe for the last fifty plus years has brought the economies of nearly all European countries to the brink of bankruptcy.  The worse part, they knew what they were doing.  They know they are wrong yet out of their corrupt urges for power and influence they destroy all that they touch. We have as a nation just experienced the first credit downgrade in our history.   We are over 14 trillion in debt, essentially bankrupt, and the party that was swept into power 9 months ago to reduce the debt is largely blamed now for trying to reduce the debt in the recent debt negotiations in Congress.  We have over 9% unemployment and an effective 17% unemployment when those who have stopped looking for employment are added in.  We have slashed our military while China is on a big military build up and has launched its first Air Craft carrier.  We are sitting back and doing nothing while Iran, who preaches the destruction of Israel and the United States and is the chief sponsor of terrorism in the world today, develops a nuclear bomb.  Russia and China are now growing closer together in their relationships.  Our borders are out of control.  The stock market has crashed and by most economist accounts we are looking at hyper inflation taking hold in 2013, the bankruptcy of Medicare in 10 years and the bankruptcy of Social Security thereafter.  Read more

As I suggested back in June, tonight’s Republican Presidential debate confirmed that Gingrich and Bachman are the ideal ticket. Gingrich again demonstrated his depth of knowledge, specific solutions and keen debating skills along with his ability to come up with the quick retort. He did not let Chris Wallace’s stupid inside politics question go by without reminding him of the serious times we are going through.
