Jefferson County Public Schools’ $200 Million Lie

The administrators of the Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) think you’re not very bright. According to today’s Louisville Courier-Journal, a JCPS administrator claims that a bill in the Kentucky Senate that would allow children to attend schools nearest their homes would cost $200 million in Jefferson County alone. Obamacare: McDonald’s Not Lovin’ It

The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and ABC (and no doubt other news outlets) are reporting there is a “credible but not specific” threat of Mumbai-style commando attacks against various European and American “economic or soft targets.” The Leftist media, meanwhile, is showing its true colors by ignoring the Islamist nature of the threat, and the ACLU is attacking the very security apparatus that has worked so well to keep us safe. It’s Not Enough To Just Vote

The polls show a growing outrage of hopefully historic proportions over the direction of the country and the consequences of Socialists and their policies. The takeover of our country by socialists didn’t happen overnight. The liberals (progressives) leftists, socialists, Marxists, all peas in the same pod, have persistently been at work for over 90 years. They systematically took over the press, media, educational institutions, entertainment and the judiciary and imposed their will over the people. How? When good people do nothing evil prevails. Yes, there is such a thing as evil and wickedness and it’s time to resurrect the use of those words. After all, in the last 90 years more people around the world have been murdered and exterminated by the peas in that pod type governments than in all of prior recorded history. That’s evil. You know that nothing but deep, intellectual, insightful commentary is going to follow an opening line like this: “Holy Roddy McDowall.” (McDowall played some not-so-human characters in the Planet of the Apes movies and TV series.) And that’s exactly how the pride of the New York Times editorial page, Maureen Dowd, opened her latest polemic, “Slouching Toward Washington,” which slams the Right, particularly the Republican candidate for the Senate in Delaware, Christine O’Donnell. A number of important people are up in arms about comedian Stephen Colbert’s appearance—in character—before a congressional committee. Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) asked Colbert to leave before testifying; Rep. Steve King (R-IA) said Colbert “mocked the hearing process.” Considering what normally goes on in Congress, Colbert should testify several times a week. Read more

The situation would be laughable if the consequences weren’t so tragic. While the Courier-Journal worships at the altar of diversity, casts hosannas on the Jefferson County School Board’s queen of diversity, Pat Todd, it of course ignores the consequences of this classic liberal attitude of destroying others to achieve their own vision of utopia. The school assignment plan, better known as “bussing,” has virtually ruined the public school system in Jefferson County, leaving behind a trail of destroyed lives, primarily among the black community – an Inconvenient Truth that the liberal elite choose to either hide or ignore as long as they achieve their beloved diversity. Faux news anchor/pundit Jon Stewart is planning to hold a rally on the Washington Mall, as he puts it, for the 70-80% of America in the middle, the people who don’t normally rally or get involved in politics because they “have sh#t to do.” He’s calling it the “Rally to Restore Sanity.” Newsflash, Jon: the Tea Party is full of people who have, um, stuff to do, who don’t normally rally or get much involved in politics, and who want nothing more than to restore sanity in Washington.
