Obama Slashes Executive Pay

President Obama has instructed his Pay Czar to cut executive compensation to banks and financial institutions who received TARP bailouts. Nobody on the left or right is going to lose any sleep about executives, who ran their companies into the ground and then got bailed out with taxpayer money, now having to take a pay cut. They should have cut their pay on their own. However, this should be a lesson to private companies not to take government money. Now they own you.

Dr. Paul supports lower taxes, less spending, and less government control of health care. Tonight President Obama is flying to New York City for a DNC fundraiser at $30,000 per couple. Good chance there will be a few Wall Street financiers who got bailed out doing paybacks. It appears Obama does have time after all to visit NYC if the reason is worth it. The 9/11 memorial service didn’t quite make the grade; A $30,000 per couple fundraiser, no problem. And the Democrats claim to be the party of the little people?

Democrat Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, has stated previously on the Senate floor that defensive medicine is a myth. That may explain why he scoffs at the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office estimate that malpractice reform would reduce the federal deficit by $54 billion a year or $540 billion over 10 years. Reid believes that savings from malpractice reform would be a drop in the bucket compared to the overall cost of the new government run health care plan.

Further evidence that education is controlled by left wing nuts! As if college students need more training in sex, UK is allotting an entire week to bring sex toy promoters onto campus to teach the students the proper use of vibrators and dildos. Today is “coming out day” at UK where students do such scholarly endeavors as face painting and gay trivia. And to think that elites in Los Angeles and New York believe we are just backward Bible thumpers here in Kentucky. Have we got them fooled.

Obama – Nobel Peace Prize – Huh?

After only 8 months in office President Obama is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize! Obama joins other great recent peace makers like Al Gore and Jimmy Carter. He was nominated for the prize after only 2 weeks in office. When has another individual received so much adoration for having done so little? Perhaps he is the only major lefty without sexual impropieties pending against him? We suspect the Nobel committee is suffering from BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) since the most important thing Obama has in common with the other recent prize winners is that he is not George Bush. Anybody in doubt about the political leanings of the Nobel committee? Next he will get the Nobel Prize in Medicine for health care reform.
