The Real Legacy of Ted Kennedy

We don’t relish bringing up the truth about Senator Kennedy on the day of his death, but watching the government run media immortalize him requires a reality check. The real legacy of Senator Kennedy, despite his well known history of personal moral failings, is the politics of personal destruction which he set in motion with the nomination of Judge Bork to the Supreme Court. Senator Kennedy was a ruthless politician who would destroy your personal reputation to take you down. He was successful in derailing Judge Bork. However, in 1991 Senators Kennedy and Biden again went to the mat to destroy Clarence Thomas in one of the most distasteful episodes in Senate history. Judge Thomas’s summation of the hearings said it all.

Democrats Want To Rule, Not Represent

It’s the historical liberal nature, once in power, to want to rule and not represent. There is this sense of entitlement and a pathological arrogance with liberals that they know better than you as to how you should live your life. In spite of always being proven wrong, their addiction to power and the need to rule over others lives compels them to deny the reality of the situation and in order to hang onto power they regulate and manipulate and suppress the truth to avoid being booted out of office. Americans Revolt – Politicians’ Poll Numbers Are Sinking Fast

The American revolt over the healthcare plan is having an impact. It’s showing up in precipitous drops in the polls. According to the Rasmussen tracking poll the President’s numbers are now at their lowest, 47% approval with 52% disapproving. This is lower than Bush’s at the same time of his presidency. Read more

We don’t like calling the President a liar, but we have no choice today. Too often people call someone a liar if they disagree with them. But to be a liar means that you are purposefully saying something that you know is untrue. If you have heard the President’s town hall meeting today on health-care, you will clearly and explicitly hear him state that he is NOT in favor of a single payer universal health-care system. (Video to follow) Yet anyone who has been following this debate has seen the video of him clearly and explicitly stating, on multiple occasions, that he IS in favor of a single payer universal health-care system. There is no explanation other than he is a liar or is experiencing early dementia.
