Obama demonstrates his disregard for physicians and his lack of knowledge about day to day health care. Obama accuses pediatricians of removing tonsils to make money. Apparently he is not aware that pediatricians don’t remove tonsils. I guess they must be getting a kick-back from the ENT specialist for referring the child for tonsillectomy.

U.S. Debt under Obama

The U.S. debt is soaring under Obama, most dramatically seen by checking out the U.S. Debt Clock website. By the end of the year, the deficit for 2009 alone is expected to top two trillion dollars ($2,000,000,000,000.00). That is equivalent to the entire economy of China! This is money Obama is spending that we don’t have, meaning our children and grandchildren will be paying it off. In years past, the media would go apoplectic if the deficit was a hundred billion dollars, but under Obama they are silent with the debt going into unfathomable levels.

Senator Jim Bunning announced yesterday that he will not be seeking re-election to the U.S. Senate in 2010. Bunning, at 77 years of age, has been one of the most dependable conservative Senators and has served Kentucky well. He will be missed.

Senator John Thune of S.D had sponsored a bill that would allow citizens with legal concealed carry gun permits to carry their guns across state lines. However, liberal Democrat opposition kept the bill from passing in the U.S. Senate today. This should make it clear for those who are still in doubt that most Democrats oppose legal gun rights even by law abiding U.S. citizens.

President Obama’s naïveté in foreign affairs becomes more apparent with every passing day. Iran is a prime example. Obama failed to come out forcefully against the Iranian crackdown on election protestors, instead keeping silent while the Iranian régime made a farce of its national presidential elections. Now reports out of Iran demonstrate their liberal democratic principles and how they deal with protestors. Apparently young women who were picked up during the protests were sentenced to death. However, Sharia law prohibits the killing of a virgin. The Iranian solution – force the young girl to marry a prison guard who then rapes her the night before her execution. Why isn’t Obama speaking out against this? See article
