The financial crisis continues unresolved. Yesterday the House of Representatives surprised the pundits by voting down the bailout plan. Calamity was predicted. In response the elites on Wall Street sold their stocks to the tune of a 777 point drop in the Dow, estimated to be a one trillion dollar change. Despite this, the American public is unfazed. Most polls show the public overwhelmingly opposes a 700 billion dollar bailout to Wall Street by close to 90%. Today, stocks recovered 485 points. Obviously there are still a lot of rich Wall Streeters eager to get a bargain and buy stocks. The lines have never been so clearly drawn. The public, whether Democrat or Republican, adamantly oppose the bailout plan, meanwhile the elite expect the average taxpayers to foot the bill for their greed. Democracy in action.

Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, Barney Frank and Senate Banking Chairman Chris Dodd should resign immediately. Both are responsible for overseeing these financial institutions in the House of Representatives and the Senate and this crisis occurred on their watch. Their failure is about to cost the American taxpayer at least $700 billion, more than the entire Iraq war cost. Read more

Since the 10 poorest cities in this nation have not elected a Republican in over 25 years, some cities over 100 years, this kind of gives you an idea of what appeals to many people. So, when we come to judging the presidential debates keep that in mind. Many people, particularly undecideds, haven’t a clue and wouldn’t know the truth from a spin if their lives depended on it. Is there any wonder why some are perpetually classified as the disadvantaged? The well worn phrase, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Well, those who live in denial and not reality will find Barack Obama appealing as he promises the same thing that Democrats in the 10 poorest cities have been promised for over 25 plus years, something for nothing. First Debate – A Draw

The first Presidential debate of 2008 is over. No clear winners or losers. No knockouts or even knock-downs. A debate which is unlikely to change the opinion of anyone who had already made up their mind and unlikely to change the polls to any significant degree. Obama came out strong at the beginning while McCain finished strong. Obama continued to come back to the original mistake of going into Iraq in his opinion. McCain was persistent in pointing out Obama’s stubborn refusal to admit that he was wrong about the surge in Iraq and Obama’s overall lack of experience.

Guthrie Pulls Ahead In 2nd District Race

In an election for US House of Representatives in Kentucky’s 2nd Congressional Distric to fill the seat of retiring incumbent Republican Ron Lewis, Republican Brett Guthrie edges Democrat David Boswell 49% to 43%, according to a new poll conducted by SurveyUSA. Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll released three months ago, Guthrie is up 5 points; Boswell is down 4; a 9-point shift to the Republican.

Obama and Ayers – Radical Connection

The connection between Bill Ayers and Barack Obama is far cozier than previously reported. The main stream media has been almost silent on Obama’s community organizing days and what he was actually doing. Investigations by Stanley Kurtz have revealed a hidden relationship between these men and increasing evidence of a cover-up of their association.
Bill Ayers is a well known admitted and unrepented domestic terrorist from the 1960′s who founded the militant Weatherman. Ayers bombed the NY City Police Headquarter, the Pentagon and the US Capital among other deeds. His ideology included support for Communism and promoting polygamy and homosexuality. Even with passing age, Ayers has not matured or moderated his radical life. Now Ayers’ activities are devoted to indoctrination of children as an education ‘reformer’. He founded an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC) which has been promoting leftwing indoctrination in Chicago schools and radical political commitment.
Between 1995 and 1999, Barack Obama was appointed the first chairman of the board of the CAC by Bill Ayers, an executive experience that Mr. Obama has not been publicizing. Mr. Ayers would not risk his brainchild re-education project on someone he was not fully confident shared his radical ideas and motivations.

NBC Hit New Low with SNL Palin Skit!

Just when you think the liberal media and Hollywood types couldn’t get any worse, they do. NBC’s Saturday Night Live (SNL) did a skit suggesting that Senator Palin’s husband Todd was having sex with their daughters!
“What about the husband?” … “You know he’s doing those daughters. I mean, come on. It’s Alaska.” … “He very well could be. Admittedly, there is no evidence of that, but on the other hand, there is no convincing evidence to the contrary. And these are just some of the lingering questions about Governor Palin.”
